To place an order on OUR SHOP you do not need to register.
You do, however, have the choice to create an account where your personal data will be saved. This will make your future shopping experiences easier on our shop. To create an account you need to add information such as: name and last name, telephone number, delivery address, date of birth, gender. If you are less than 18 years old and you want to create an account in order to buy on www.maiaratiu.com/shop , you should announce your parents or your guardian first.
We reserve our right to block anyone who abuses our services or who offers false information, without any written notice.
How to order?
Our shop offers 2 ways of placing orders:
- By ordering directly from the site:
- To do this you have to access the online shop
- If you decided upon which products to buy, simply click ADD TO MY SHOPPING BAG;
- After adding all the products you wish to buy, access the SHOPPING BAG section where you can visualize all of them;
- PROCEED TO CHECKOUT is the next step when you should complete the form with all the data required. Once completed you can click the PLACE ORDER button;
- You will automatically receive an e-mail on your e-mail address with all the details of the order. In maximum 24h one of our consultants will contact you via phone/ e-mail to confirm the order.
- By phone:
- You can contact us every day, from Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 20:00 (UTC +02 Eastern European Time zone) at 004.0748753070 to place an order or for any other questions.
By placing an order on www.maiaratiu.com you accept the use of the personal data given, for a more efficient buying process. This means that some of our business partners will also have access to it, according to the type of partnership.
How do you pay?
There are two types of payment:
- Online- with your card: payment is secured by our partners PayPal and EuPlatesc.ro (direct checkout) , known for their demanding payment security solutions offered. Your data is safe and nobody will have access to your bank account details.
- Pay cash- upon delivery. This option is only available for Romania
- Bank wire transfer in the following bank acounts:

All the products posted on our shop have on their display page the product availability status (available / sold out). The products that are sold out can be made to order. You can order them by completing the contact form, by sending an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling at 004.0748753070. In case you ordered an item and this is sold out and it cannot be made to order, we will let you know as soon as possible.
With our shop your order can be delivered anywhere in Europe! Please announce us immediately when the package we sent you shows irregularities.
The delivery fee will be supported by the client. The fee may vary depending on the region/country. The delivery fee will be shown when placing the order.
The products are displayed without any delivery fee! To find out the delivery fee you have to add the products in the SHOPPING BAG and follow the instructions. The delivery fee will appear after adding the delivery address.
The prices shown on www.maiaratiu.com are set when the products are uploaded on the site. All prices are in RON and EURO. The prices can change when the exchange rate has significant variations or when discounts are applied.
The delivery time is mentioned on each product’s page.It takes 1-2 days +shipping time for ready-to-wear products and 5-7 days for evening and bridal products
According to the ordinance no.130 of 31 August 2000 by Law No. 51 of 21 January 2003 approving Government Ordinance nr.130/2000 “The consumer has the right to give notice in writing to waive the purchase without penalty and without giving any reason within 14 working days of receipt of product.”
The products that are made to order cannot be returned.
We gladly accept returns and exchanges within 10 days of receipt. The deadline for announcing the return of an item is a maximum of 24 hours from the receipt of the package. We do not accept returns of items that do not have the attached seal, are not in their original condition, have been worn, damaged or washed, with missing attached original tags packaging and other accessories received with the order or that show any signs of use.
The merchandise must be returned in one mailing. We reserve the right to refuse multiple returns at different times from one order.
We can exchange the item with another product of the same value or a different value.

If the customer wants to wait to exchange an item with another from a future collection, the amount already paid can remain in the customer’s account until such item is available for purchase.
Custom made items cannot be exchanged or returned, but we guarantee you will love it and it will fit perfectly.
Please note that we can only accept returns and exchanges using the following shipping companies: TNT, FEDEX, DHL, UPS with door-to-door delivery. The package must be sent from the same address with the original order and you must specify the reason for the return on the invoice. For more information please send an email at firstname.lastname@example.org before sending the package.
You must notify us through e-mail at email@example.com in the first 5 days from receiving the order. The e-mail title should be “Returning product” and it has to include information such as: product code, color, size, the designer’s name, the reason of returning.
In order to return the products they have to: be in their original state, should not show wear or damage and they must come in their original package. The shoes must be sent in the original box with no traces of use. We will not receive shoes that were used.
The returning fee (30 RON) will be removed from the total value of the order. This fee includes the transport cost of the package and others additional costs.
For international orders, the client will pay all the transport fees plus 5 EURO which represent additional costs.
You will have the money back in maximum 15 days. Once the package arrives back to us, MAIA RATIU agrees to return the value of the products by bank transfer within 15 days of receipt of the package.
The contract between I.I. RATIU MARIA FLORICA. and the Purchaser is be governed by the Romanian law and shall be construed pursuant to the regulations thereof. Any disagreements shall be settled amicably. If disagreements may not be solved amicably, they shall be subject to the Court of International Commercial Arbitration of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania, according to the regulation thereof.
Neither of the Contracting Parties shall be liable for the failure to perform in due time and/or the improper – total or partial – performance of any of its obligations under this contract, if the non-performance or improper performance of those obligations was due to force majeure, as defined by law.
